Clark and McCullough

Clark and McCullough were a comedy team consisting of comedians Bobby Clark and Paul McCullough. They starred in a series of short films during the 1920s and 1930s.

Clark was the one with the painted-on eyeglasses. The two were childhood friends and later became a team in vaudeville shows. They starred in the George Gershwin musical Strike Up the Band on Broadway in 1930. The comedy team Wheeler and Woolsey filmed The Cuckoos in 1930 which was based on Clark and McCullough's hit Broadway show The Ramblers from 1926.[1] Clark and McCullough's films ended in 1935 and a year later, McCullough committed suicide. Clark appeared in several films and on television in the 1940s and 1950s.
